Wow! Can you believe it's almost October already!? The first month of school has been incredibly exciting. We are sure that you have observed for yourselves that the children are settling in, gaining a stronger awareness of our school routines, and developing new friendships. Towards the end of each month, we try to utilize an end of the month blog post to showcase an area of exploration that perhaps has not been highlighted as strongly as others in the previous weeks. Today, we'd like to share moments from the outdoor classroom with you! |
Betsy and William use scissors to cut larger materials into small enough pieces to fit onto their base. Just out of frame, Noah problem-solves how to add a large strip of paper to his collage. | |
| Betsy: First, the stairs. Then the walkway. Gus: Yeah, the walkway. I'm making it. It's here! Gus: Don't put here. Put there to not make it fall. William: I'm building the house with a roof. A rainbow roof! |
| Lily and Noah explore painting at the easel. "I'm drawing all my family at home," Lily shared. She makes careful, individual dots on the bottom righthand corner of the paper. Meanwhile, Noah uses sweeping vertical motions. After deciding to work with a different color, both head to the tray to switch their paints. |
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
